Perhaps you heard me mention that I have a book releasing near the end of this year.
It’s called Every Breath You Take and it will be my twelfth novel to be released. I’ve wanted to do something like this for some time now. I will be publishing it myself, doing a limited edition press run of numbered copies.
In a world obsessed with American Idol and over-the-top wedding parties comes a simple love story that ties those themes together in a unique way.
These are questions we all have . . .
What do I want to do with my life?
Who should I spend that life with?
How can I tell those I love goodbye before they’re gone?
For three people one momentous summer, these questions will be answered.
Kayla Rowe is a twenty-six year old whose mother left her shortly after she was born and whose father passed away when she two and a half years old. On her birthday, two momentous things happen to her: Kayla quits her job in order to search for something with more meaning, and she accepts a proposal of marriage from her boyfriend, Ryan.
Billy Harris is Kayla’s ex, a misfit of a young man who dreams of becoming the next great rock star. But even more than that, he dreams of being with Kayla, and has spent the last couple of years waiting in vain for her.
Thomas Rowe is Kayla’s father who had musical aspirations himself until Kayla came along and changed his life in a magnificent way. After she was born, one dream he held dear was to dance with her on her wedding day.
This is a wish that will be fulfilled.
Thomas is given a chance to come back to earth from Heaven to get to know his daughter and dance with her at her wedding. The only hitch is that she’s engaged to the wrong guy. She’s really meant to be Billy.
And one other small hitch . . . Thomas can’t reveal to Kayla that he’s her father.
A story about love, faith, and dreams, Everything Breath You Take is a little love story with a special supernatural twist.
Absolutely love the sound of it.
Yes, it sounds like a great story! I'm excited about the release! =)
Finally, a book I can finally buy from you! Looking forward to our lunch meeting.
Can't wait!
