For Book Clubs

Last week I had the privilege of joining a local book club to discuss my latest published novel, Isolation. I had been to this group before so I saw some familiar faces. It was great because a couple other book clubs joined the discussion that evening, making for a large group. I spent most of the time answering questions related to both Isolation and writing in general. I sold a variety of my books and enjoyed hearing thoughts related to my writing.

If you’re part of a book club in the Chicagoland area, I’d love to join you for an evening such as this. Your club doesn’t have to pick Isolation–I’ve interacted with book clubs about most if not all of my novels. For me it’s a great way to share thoughts on the writing process. If you’re interested, please contact me through my website to find out more details.
If you’re not in the area, I’d still love to interact with your bookclub in some form. Email is a natural and easy way, but I’ve also talked with bookclubs on the phone (even though that’s always been a bit strange for me knowing there’s a party on the other line and I’m in my office!).
I’m gearing up for an extensive book tour for my upcoming novel, Ghostwriter, which releases at the end of May. I could always coincide a booksigning with a bookclub visit, so please let me know if you’re interested. Thanks.
