By the time this scene came in Road To Perdition, the one where the father and son are driving to Chicago after the brutal shooting, I was already starting to think about Gun Lake.
I saw that movie when it came out summer of 2002. Gun Lake would be published two years later.
I have it and it's one of the many books I have in my stack of "Books to read” but am anxious to read it. :O
