Midway Point

Writing a novel is like running a marathon. Each one is a different city with different streets. By the end, you’re a combination of exhaustion and exuberance.
With two marathons almost complete, I’m at a midway point. I’ll be starting two more this summer, with work on other projects.
So here’s the latest.
Broken just came to my doorstep this week and releases on May 25.
The first in my teen series, Solitary, has now been typeset. I need to go through it and give it my final blessing before it goes to the printer. The release date is August 1.
I’m still not giving the title of my next supernatural thriller. I will soon. It’s a cool, creepy and different story.
I’m also very close to sharing the other book I’ve been working on (publishing moves at a glacial pace, as I often say). It’s a novel based on a song by a popular Contemporary Christian music singer. It’s a very inspiring story.
The other two I will be working on this summer? One is called Gravestone and it’s a comedy!! Just kidding. The title is correct but it’s the second novel in my teen series. Then . . . phew . . . I’ll be working on another novel based on another song. But I won’t say anything more about that one!
Then there’s that series idea that continues to get tweaked and added to a little each day . . . And the fact that I’m moving offices this month.
So there’s the scoop for anybody interested. I don’t share all this to brag or complain even though I do both all the time. Partly I’m sharing this in case you see me and wonder why I look like a zombie. I remain thankful for the work, and excited about the opportunities in the next year.
