One Of My Many Projects Over The Years

Thought I’d share a project that I worked on several years ago.

Ever since I graduated college, I’ve been working on a variety of writing projects, juggling them with the hope that one or two might land somewhere. As many of you know, it took me seven novels before my first came out. The Promise Remains was my first published novel.
The project featured above was my attempt to repackage The Promise Remains in 2005. I worked with a very talented designer and paid her to design a cover for this repackage. The thought was that I would publish it myself, starting my own publishing house and selling copies of my work.
I spent quite a bit of time and money on this. But due to the busyness in my life, along with several other factors, this project never did see the light of day.
Tyndale House Publishers eventually repackaged The Promise Remains with The Watermark in a version that came out January, 2007.
I still love this cover, and can still see it one day being published in this format.
Over the years, with so many story ideas and having spent so much time in the publishing world, I’ve wanted to publish something myself. I got really close with this.
I’m even closer with another project. I’ve mentioned it before, but I’ll be publishing a brand new story in the near future. I’m excited about the process, and very excited to share this story with readers. Stay tuned.

  1. Great cover! Both stories still remain two of my favorites. I loved both and one day plan to reread them. They were that good.
